Robotics 101 (1st – 4th Grade): $75

Students will be introduced to three different types of robots, LittleBits, Cubelets, and Sphero. Each of these is designed to teach students how to think critically and solve problems as they arise in a fun and engaging way. This camp will finish with a course design challenge, and campers will get to compete against the clock to see who can run their robot through the courses the fastest.

Take Flight (4th – 8th Grade): $75

Students will learn about flight in all its forms, from gliders to jets to rockets. Campers will get to build their own gliders and paper rockets that they will get to take home at the end of the day. Campers will also get the chance to fly the Museum’s quad copters (drones) in one of our hangars!

Robotics 201 (5th – 8th Grade, or students who have participated in Robot Romp/Robotics 101): $150

This camp takes students beyond the basics of robotics that are covered in Robotics 101/Robot Romp and introduces them to the principles of programming with our Lego EV3 systems. Campers will work in small groups to build a robot and program it to accomplish a variety of tasks. At the end of the second day, students will compete against other groups to see which robot can accomplish more tasks effectively!
